What is a solar surveillance trailer?
A solar surveillance trailer is a self-contained mobile unit combining solar panels, batteries, cameras and cellular connectivity. It can operate on sites without permanent electrical power or wired internet.
Does the system need electrical power?
No permanent electrical connection is required. Solar panels charge onboard batteries designed to run continuously in typical operating conditions.
Does the system need site Wi-Fi?
No. Cellular connectivity is included. Cellular coverage on the site must be present, which we assess during site evaluation.
How quickly can it be deployed?
Typical deployment is 24–72 hours after site confirmation, subject to unit availability and site location.
What is the difference between Mini, Standard and Pro?
Mini is pole-mounted for focused coverage. Standard is a trailer with 360° coverage, full-color imaging and strobe deterrence. Pro adds PTZ and an alarm-activated siren for higher-risk sites.
Can customers view live footage?
Yes. Authorized users receive credentials for a secure portal or mobile application to view live and recorded footage.
How long is footage stored?
Approximately 30 days of recorded video retention is typical. Storage is configurable based on your requirements.
Can systems be relocated?
Yes. Standard and Pro trailers are designed to be relocated as sites and project phases change. The Mini can be re-installed on a different pole.
How long can systems operate without direct sunlight?
Systems are designed with battery reserves to handle typical overcast conditions. Extended periods without any sunlight will affect runtime and are considered during site evaluation.
Can a Mini system be installed without an existing pole?
Yes. If no suitable pole exists, we can arrange installation of a new pole for the Mini system.
Is professional monitoring available?
Self-monitoring is included. Professional monitoring can be integrated through a third-party partner for eligible sites. Please contact us to discuss requirements.
What affects rental pricing?
Pricing depends on system selection, rental duration, number of units, deployment location and any monitoring integration. Every quote is site-specific.
Are short-term rentals available?
Yes. Rental periods are flexible. Minimum terms depend on unit availability and location.
Can multiple units be used?
Yes. Larger or complex sites often benefit from a multi-unit deployment. We recommend the configuration based on your site.
Do you serve Utah?
Utah deployment areas are expanding. Please contact us to confirm availability for your city, project type and deployment window.
Do you serve all of Nevada?
We serve approved locations across Nevada. Deployment timing depends on unit availability and travel to your site.
Are systems suitable for government projects?
Yes. 360 View is NDOT SBE certified. Suitability for specific procurement or regulated projects should be confirmed with a site evaluation.
What happens when activity is detected?
Depending on configuration, systems can trigger strobe deterrence, an alarm-activated siren (Pro), and recorded event footage that authorized users can review remotely.
